The annual Cherry Blossom Festival has begun in Macon, Georgia. Our beloved Yoshino Cherry Trees are in full bloom, more beautiful than ever. This is a wonderful time in Macon, with many events and many visitors from all over the world. In past years we have joyfully welcomed guests from our sister city in Japan, Kurobe, as well as greater Japan. This year we regret that our Japanese friends are unable to attend, and we join them in mourning the great loss in Japan.
We invite you to visit Ocmulgee Arts if you attend the Cherry Blossom Festival. Or if you cannot come during the Festival, of course, we welcome you anytime.
Pictured is some of our merchandise gathered in a Cherry Blossom Festival display. We are particularly proud to show the Japanese doll in her elegant kimono embroidered with gold cranes, in a display case also from Japan.
